Ingredients

4 lamb shanks
1 kg of sweet potatoes
1 tbsp of ras-el-hanout
1 tbsp of paprika
8 tbsp of olive oil
8 tbsp of honey
4 cloves of garlic with skin
4 thyme branch
4 rosemary branches

Tender lamb shanks roasted to perfection with delicious root vegetables on the side.

Steps

In a pan, heat olive oil and honey until a rather homogeneous "syrup" is made.

Add the ras-el-hanout and the paprika into the pan and mix it well.

Place the lamb shanks and the sweet potatoes in a dish, with the garlic cloves.

Pour the oil / honey / spices mixture and add to it the thyme and rosemary leaves.

Let it bake for 3 hours at 180 °C while the meat infuses with its own natural juices.
